Isolated showers and rain in Havana

By Adrian Fuentes

HAVANA TIMES – Cuba remains under the influence of migratory high-pressure systems, positioned predominantly over the western Atlantic Ocean. These conditions bring light variable winds and overall stability across the national territory. Consequently, Havana experiences mostly clear skies, with only occasional partial cloudiness of minimal development, primarily in inland and southern areas of the capital.

On the other hand, a weakened frontal zone extends from the western Atlantic to the southern Florida Peninsula and the Gulf of Mexico. This system is expected to approach the northern coast of western Cuba during the day on Thursday, increasing cloud cover with isolated showers in the region.

In the coming days, mornings will start partially cloudy, with increased cloudiness in the afternoon over inland areas of the capital, accompanied by isolated rains. Winds will blow from the northeast to east at speeds between 10 and 25 kilometers per hour. Relative humidity will range from 60% to 80%. High temperatures will range from 22 to 27°C (72 to 81°F), while the lows will be between 14 and 18°C (57 to 64°F). The sea surface temperature will be 26°C (79°F).
